How to turn your website into a lead generator

By the SeizeLead team · 6 min read · 17 October 2026

Most websites get traffic but capture few leads, because the only call to action is a contact page. Turning a site into a lead generator takes five steps.

1. Work out who visits and why

Look at your top pages and traffic sources. A reader of a pricing page has different intent from a reader of a blog post, so they need different offers.

2. Create one offer per audience

Write a clear offer for each of your main page types: a guide for blog readers, a quote or audit for service pages, a demo for product pages.

3. Place offers where interest is highest

  • Inside articles, near related content.
  • On service pages, as an inline form.
  • On exit intent, as a last chance.
  • On mobile, as a small card or bar rather than a full screen.

4. Keep forms short and honest

Ask only what you need, say what happens next, and link to your privacy policy.

5. Follow up fast

Reply within hours where you can. Even an automatic confirmation that sets expectations beats silence.

6. Measure and improve

Review leads by page and device each week. Double down on pages that convert and fix those that get traffic but no results.

Put this into practice with SeizeLead
